It's hard to avoid the label. Just look at him. Guess Smokey's resolution for the new year will have to remain the same as last year: gotta lose some weight!
Hahaha! Culprit identified! I guess I have a hard time conceptualizing the weight gain since ours both get tons of treats and probably eat 2-3 lbs a day - of course they are much bigger! - and Sassy helps herself to whatever she can get her paws on and her nose in, including our leftover chili in the slow cooker. She pushed the lid off and the pot part into the sink on top of dishes, which provided a nice raised surface for her eating convenience! And nothing was broken and the pot was licked clean.
Have you had his thyroid levels tested?
