Wool lover

Cats are instinctively drawn to the lanolin in wool. Guess what is made of wool? 

Smokey! Get off the coat! Of course he turns away as if he didn't hear me.

Snuggle

Smokey shows some love by snuggling up to the one he loves best. 

And he's not the only one giving out the snuggles.

Problems fat cats have

This is just too funny not to post right away. My other half took Smokey out for a walk today. He was proceeding cautiously along the brick wall when a couple came upon him. They asked my other half, "Is she pregnant?" 

Smokey did not look amused.

The Bachelor Life

So, I've been away. Does Smokey miss me? No, he doesn't. Or, I should say he misses me insofar as he wants to know where the person who feeds him in the afternoon has gone. If anything, he loves my other half more than before.

When my other half went away on a business trip, Smokey ignored me if it wasn't feeding time. He did not sleep in bed with me, pestering me only when he wanted to eat.

"Hey, I'm waiting patiently for you to feed me. Feed me."

Now that I'm away, Smokey cuddles up to my other half nightly. Damn cat. I am so jealous. Guess he prefers the bachelor life. He is a tomcat after all.
