Out of the shadows

Now that Smokey goes out without his leash, we worry he will run away. I try to keep a sharp eye on his wandering about. So far so good. 

 Smokey, where are you?!?!

At least Smokey is still a handsome fella.

Just one big furball

Smokey has been shedding fur in the hot weather. He has shed so much fur, we have labelled him a fur factory. He is so good at producing fur. Because of him, we have to sweep everyday to keep the floors clean. One week I brushed him everyday and I was still able to produce cherry tomato sized ball of compacted fur. Mind you, this does not include the fur that is left on the floor. 

Smokey! Must you shed so much fur?

"Yes, my fur prepares for summer."
